Mike has been a musician (drummer and guitarist) for over 30 years. While he prefers playing jazz, he plays all types of music, (especially improvised music of any kind...). For the past four years, he's also plays for the Worship team at The Fishkill Vineyard church every weekend. Mike is proud to be an endorser of Precision Drum Company, and has played PDC drums since 1995. He has studied with a number of well known drummers, notably Samir Chatterjee on tabla.

Mike enjoys collecting drums--including his "beautiful" Precision Drum Company drums, and an early 1960's Round Badge Gretsch kit.

He is currently forming a jazz quintet, and also plays in the Christian band, "Approaching Storm."
