Mary has quite the musical background as she
has performed in various shows like "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" and "Bye Bye Birdie" to name a few. After
graduating from Arlington High School, Mary attended Hartford University (Hartt School of Music). She was a vocal major under Robert Hess, Sophia Steffan and the late
David Rae Smith. Mary is classically trained vocalist, but her heart is in Musical Theatre. She also has
a pop influence and enjoys both jazz and pop singing. In fact, she most recently completed the role of Mother Superior in "The Sound of
Music" with the Theatre Company "90 Miles Off Broadway". After completing her studies at Hartt, Mary attended "The Eugene O’Neill School of Acting". It was here that she studied
acting, playwriting and theatre arts, finding her time there to be a truly wonderful experience.
Mary is very happy to be part of the New York School of Music!
