We're so glad you're considering music lessons!

Learning a new instrument can be beneficial in countless ways. For students of all ages and levels, the study of music offers an opportunity to exercise the mind, develop a sense of discipline, and ultimately learn a new skill you can share with others! Music has been proven over and over again to stimulate parts of the brain that other intensive studies don't and it's an excellent way to round out an education at any level.

Not only do NYSM students receive all the inherent benefits of music making listed above, but they are also introduced to a community of musicians that are all friends, all supporting each other, and always bringing out the best in one another. Students here get to know each other, form bands, play at our showcases, are mentored by our staff, participate in our renowned summer program Rock Camp USA, and much much more...

Once you see our new, state-of-the-art facilities and meet some of our friendly and extremely talented staff members, you won't be able to resist trying some lessons with us.

Save on lessons by purchasing by the MONTH!:
$125 per month for 30 min weekly lessons
$230 per month for 60 min weekly lessons

STAND-BY SINGLE LESSONS:
30 min single lessons $35/each

INTENSIVE 2-HOUR LESSONS:
Be ready for Auditions, NYSSMA, College Applications,
Recording or Band Work $100

REHEARSAL SPACE:
PA & Drum Set provided

$25 per hour for NYSM Students
$35 per hour for non-NYSM students

Please inquire with our staff as to our policies regarding rehearsal room rentals.


Monthly lesson tuition is due on the first scheduled lesson of the month.

Accounts must be paid in full by the 15th of the month to avoid $15 late fee.
All other tuition due before scheduled lesson time. Single lessons, stand-by
lessons and rehearsal space subject to availability. Rehearsal space must be
paid in advance to confirm reservation.
