Franz Vezuli has been studying piano since he was seven years old. He has studied at
both the Music Academy of Ixelles in Brussels, Belgium, as well as the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Two years after he began playing, at just nine
years old, Franz was declared the winner of the piano competition at the Music Academy of Ixelles. Quite the accomplished pianist, Franz has made numerous
area performances, including the following:
January 2003 - Opening the concert for the Grand Montgomery Chamber Music Series, playing the 3rd movement of the "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven.
January 2004 - Playing piano in the Beethoven's Triple Concerto (1st movement) with the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra.
January 2005 - Grand Montgomery Chamber Music Series spotlighting local music prodigies. First solo recital that included Scarbo by Ravel and Rhapsody No. 15 by Liszt.
October 2005 - Received standing ovation by the parents and students of C.O.C. Academy of Music for his performance as part of the annual school recital.
November 2005 - Performed in the Mount Saint Mary's College piano recital
